We currently sit under CVS South Gloucestershire, the county’s voluntary sector umbrella and are supported by South Gloucestershire council.
Over the last twelve years with support from SARI, SGREN has organised quarterley, well attended events which bring together colleagues from the public sector with South Gloucestershire’s ethnically diverse communities on the following themes:
- Health and Wellbeing
- Housing
- Education
- Business & Employment
- Crime and Policing
- Environment
Through our outreach we also:
- connect various ethnically diverse people/communities within the SG area.
- are a focal point for support for any ethnically diverse related activities within SG area.
- hold various engagement sessions with ethnically diverse communities and SG administrative leaders.
- provide information on the development activities for ethnically diverse comunities within the SG area and strengthen them to lead on priority areas.
