SUMMARY:Roots & Rhythms: A Global Well-being Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a drop-in day retreat to combat January blues. Explore ways to improve your well-being\, connect with others and restore balance.\n\n\nAs we step into a new calendar year\, we are delighted to invite you to join us for a special SGREN event with a well-being focus\, created to support\, uplift\, and bring together South Gloucestershire’s ethnically diverse residents\, friends and allies. \nThis will be a nourishing and restorative way to start 2026 — a moment to pause\, reconnect\, and experience different wellbeing practices in a welcoming\, community-led environment. \nThe day will feature a variety of taster workshops and drop-in sessions and you are welcome to participate in as many as you wish. Activities include: therapy talks\, journaling\, music\, yoga\, breathwork\, movement\, and more — along with stalls from local wellbeing and community service providers. \n \nEvent Info:– Bring a yoga mat if you have one.– A light vegetarian lunch will be provided.– We’ll have a craft corner too\, so children are very welcome but will need to be supervised.– If you need help with transport costs\, support can be provided. \n \nPay What You Choose \nWe’d like everyone who wants to experience a SGREN event to be able to. \nTo help with this\, we have flexible “Pay What You Choose” pricing for the majority of events in our programme. \nHow does it work? \nAt Pay What You Choose events\, when you check out\, you’ll be given a choice of 3 different prices: \nOpen Concession – If you don’t have the cash right now\, don’t worry; book this rate and let us welcome you with open arms\, no questions asked. Children are also free at this rate. \nStandard – If you can afford to\, please book this rate; the money you give will enable SGREN to continue to support ethnically diverse communities in South Gloucestershire. \nPay It Forward – If you’re feeling generous and you have the means\, please consider choosing this rate. Each Pay It Forward ticket subsidises one standard ticket and helps more people celebrate diversity in South Gloucestershire. \nAll you have to do is select the price bracket that best suits your budget and continue to checkout. \nWe look forward to welcoming you to our event.
